About Me
My name is NH Nguyen, math teacher at Peoria Accelerated High School. I obtained my undergraduate degree from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
I am from Vietnam and English is my second language. Before I became a teacher, I managed a small business in New Jersey. I was also served for the United States Navy Reserve as a Fleet Marines Forces (FMF) corpsman. I moved to Page, Arizona on August 2014, started teacher training program at Rio Salado College, and obtained the teaching certification. I always have the passion for teaching and I do like mathematics ever since I was in high school; therefore, I want to become a high school math teacher. I believe that education is essential and a necessity to each individual's future. As a teacher, I believe that every one has the ability to learn and be successful. I can only provide instructional information, resources and assistance necessarily to support your success. However, as student, you have to be determined, siege the opportunity, explore the options, and strive for success. Believe in yourself, advocate for yourself, and perceive obstacles as challenges and conquer them. Only you, yourself have the ability change your destiny. |
